Position
The Pfitsch Valley in South Tyrol is one of the northernmost municipalities in the region and borders neighboring Austria. The main village, Wiesen, is located at the entrance of the 23-kilometer-long Pfitsch Valley. This unique high alpine valley, surrounded by towering three-thousand-meter peaks, invites visitors to linger and enjoy untouched nature.
In summer, countless hiking trails await. From easy walking paths to demanding high-alpine tours, there is something for everyone. The highest peak of the Zillertal Alps, the Hochfeiler (3,510 m), is also located in the Pfitsch Valley.
